March 21, 2006 Stony Brook, N.Y. - P.A.W.S. Invitation The 2006 Providing Athletes With Support (P.A.W.S) Kick-Off reception will take place on Thursday, March 30 at the 101 Club in Manhattan. The event will mark the second time that the celebration has been held at the 101 Club on Park Avenue and turnout is expected to be the best ever. The three-hour event begins at 6 p.m. P.A.W.S. is the athletic department's annual 12-month fundraising drive to Provide Athletes With Support. Contributions raised through P.A.W.S. will be used to fund various SB athletics endeavors such as: academic development, recruiting, facility upgrades and scholarships. The consistent focus of these initiatives will be to enhance the overall educational experience for current and future student-athletes. The reception will include hot and cold hors d'oeuvres and open bar for all attendees. Join student-athletes, coaches, friends and other alums for a night of fun as we celebrate Stony Brook athletics - its past, present and future.
