Roy Flores joined the Stony Brook athletic training staff in January of 2008. He primarily works with the Seawolf baseball program as well as supporting all Stony Brook student-athletes with their athletic training needs.

Prior to joining the Seawolf staff, Flores was a member of the athletic training staff at Fairleigh Dickinson University for three years, working primarily with the women's soccer, volleyball and baseball teams. He also worked with staff first aid and CPR certification as well as implementing a student-athlete injury tracking system.

Flores also has experience at Long Island University where he was a teaching fellow in the athletic training educational program. While there he taught both undergraduate and graduate courses in athletic training and coordinated the daily maintenance of the athletics training lab.

No stranger to Stony Brook, Flores earned his B.A. in multidisciplinary studies in 2000 at the school where he was a member of the Seawolf swimming & diving team. In 2004, he earned a Master's degree in athletic training and sports sciences from Long Island University.
