Manhattan, N.Y. - Junior Craig Matuza led the throwers on the Stony Brook track and field team as they competed at the Jasper Invitational at Manhattan College on Saturday.

Matuza placed in two events, matching his season-best throw in the shot put,48 feet, 2 1/4 inches, for third place overall.

He followed that up with a fourth-place finish in the weight event with a personal record throw of 48 feet, 1 3/4 inches.

The Seawolves return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Fairleigh Dickerson.
