Track and Field Competes at New Balance NYC Qualifying Challenge

Stony Brook's track and field team sent three athletes to the New Balance NYC Qualifying Challenge on Randall's Island this past weekend in hopes of qualifying for the ECAC and IC4A Championships. Sophomores Lisa Voltaire (Stockholm, Sweden) and Iain Whitfield (Stroud, England) both finished with qualifying times. [+]

Four Track & Field Members Named to America East All-Academic Team

Four members of the Stony Brook track and field team were named to the America East All-Academic team, according a press release from the conference office Thursday. Senior Mubaarak Muhammad (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) and sophomores Alex Felce (Stroud, England) and Tim Hodge (Tawa, New Zealand) represented the men's team while senior Dana Hastie (Wellington, New Zealand) was named from the women's team. Eight Seawolves Named to America East Outdoor Track & Field All-Conference Team

Eight members of the Stony Brook outdoor track and field team were named to the America East All-Conference team, according to a release from the conference Monday. Freshman Holly Van Dalen (Wanganui, New Zealand) was also named the Woman's Most Outstanding Rookie. [+]
