Wolfstock 2009 - A Homecoming Tradition

On Saturday, October 3, Stony Brook University will host the annual Homecoming celebration and reunion weekend known as "Wolfstock." Join us for a spectacular day as we welcome alumni back to campus to rekindle old friendships, reminisce, and rediscover a university that has been transformed. The Wolfstock Village will open at noon to be followed by the homecoming football game that will feature the Presbyterian College Blue Hose taking on our Stony Brook University Seawolves at 3 p.m. in Kenneth P. 07/16/2009 Men's and Women's Track Earn All-Academic Honors Stony Brook University's men's and women's track and field teams both earned United States Track and Field and Cross County Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Track and Field honors, it was announced on Thursday. To be nominated, the team must carry a minimum 3.000 cumulative grade-point average. The men's team had a 3.03 GPA while the women's team, who earned the honor for the second year in a row, was 3.36. 07/13/2009 Van Dalens Named To USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team Sophomores Lucy and Holly Van Dalen (Wanganui, New Zealand) have been named to the 2009 United States Track and Field and Cross County Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Track and Field Team, the organization announced on Monday. To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have met either the NCAA Division I Indoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard or the NCAA Division I Outdoor regional or national qualifying standard in their respective event.
