Bronx, N.Y. - The men's cross country team closed out its 2003 season at the IC4A Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon at Van Cortlandt Park. As a team, the Seawolves finished 12th overall, while Chris Hunt led SBU individually with a 61st place finish in the five mile race.

Hunt crossed the line in 28:10 followed by Preston Smolinski in 62nd in 28:12. Michael Petrina was 81st in 29:15, while Dennis Desposiot was 101st in 30:37 for the Seawolves.

Stephen Meinelt of New Hampshire took the individual title in 24:50 to lead the Wildcats to the team title with 28 points.
