Stony Brook, N.Y. - Jackie Nunez was named Stony Brook Athlete of the Week on Monday after leading the women's cross country team to a first place finish at the Seawolves Invitational on Saturday.

Nunez won the individual title, finishing first in a time of 18:51.7 for the 5K distance, finishing just ahead of teammate Leonora Joy.
