Stony Brook, N.Y. - Jackie Nunez picks up her second Athlete of the Week award after capturing the 2003 America East Women's Cross Country Championship while leading the team to a second place finish on Saturday afternoon in Albany, N.Y.

Nunez broke her own course record she set earlier this year, finishing in 17:31 for the 5K distance. The time was the sixth best in the 15-year history of the championship.

Nunez remains undefeated so far in 2003, winning each of the individual titles at the Seawolves' five meets this season, including the MET Championship where she became the first Stony Brook athlete to win that title.
