Homestead, Fla. - Alex Trezza smashed two homeruns and collected a career-high seven runs batted to lead Stony Brook to a 12-2 pounding of Cornell on Thursday.

Trezza got it going in the first inning with a three-run blast to put SB up 3-0. He added another three-run shot in the seventh to put the game away for the Seawolves.

Freshman hurler Jeremy Carle was dominant today, giving up three hits, one run and striking out a career-high 15 Big Red batters in seven innings of work. The win improves Stony Brook's record to 9-6 as it prepares for a contest later today against Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
