Homestead, Fla. - John Gomez hit a three-run homer in the sixth inning to erase a 4-3 deficit and propel Wisconsin-Milwaukee to a 21-4 win over the Stony Brook baseball team Thursday afternoon.

The Panthers put the game away in the late innings, scoring nine runs in the seventh inning and seven in the eighth off the Seawolves bullpen that yielded 16 runs in 1 1/3 innings of work.

Alex Trezza continued his hot hitting for Stony Brook, going 4-for-4 with a homerun, his seventh round tripper this year. He leads the team with 19 runs batted in.

The Seawolves finish up their Florida swing Friday morning when they take on Wright State at 10:00 a.m. They return Friday night and prepare for the home opener against Columbia Sunday afternoon.
