Homestead, FLA - Jim McCurdy scored on a throwing error in the bottom of the 10th inning and Stony Brook defeated Drexel, 10-9, Thursday afternoon at the Homestead Challenge. The victory capped off a huge comeback for the Pack, who was down 6-0 heading into the bottom of the fourth inning.

CJ Lutz's fifth homerun of the season in the bottom of the fifth- a three-run shot - tied the game at 6-6. Drexel took a 9-8 lead in the top of the eighth inning, but the Seawolves struck in the bottom of the inning with a solo homerun by Lee Lipschutz to force the game into extra innings.

In game two, Stony Brook took a 7-2 lead in the top of the sixth inning with seven runs as Alex Trezza drilled a grand slam. Stony Brook built the lead to 15-5 in the sixth with seven runs as Craig Ansman hit a three-run homerun and Phil Bouchard hit a two-run triple. The Seawolves cruised from there, collecting 23 hits on the day. All told, Stony Brook hit four homeruns on the day.

Trezza finished the day with five RBI's and Lee Lipschutz also collected five RBI's on the day.
