Cambridge, Mass. - Freshman Nick Thode (Huntington Station, N.Y.) was named America East Baseball Rookie of the Week the league office announced Monday after he hit .333 with three RBI in the Seawolves three-game set against Southeastern Louisiana over the weekend..

Thode went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI in the Seawolves 7-5 victory over Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday. He then tallied two hits and scored a run in Stony Brook's 5-3 win over the Lions on Sunday afternoon.

The Seawolves return to action on Saturday, March 15, traveling to take on Charlotte at Noon.
