As the Director of Basketball Operations Rickard handled all day-to-day activities surrounding the basketball program, while working on his master's degree in liberal studies with a concentration in education. Rickard's duties included such tasks as film exchange, on-campus recruiting, the academic support and strength and conditioning liason, along with being the director of the Steve Pikiell Basketball Camp at Stony Brook University.
