Men's Basketball To Face Hartford In First Round Of AE Tournament
Complete Release in PDF Format America East Tournament Bracket Feb. 28, 2005 Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook men's basketball team will enter the 2005 America East tournament as a No. 7 seed and will face the No. 10 seed Hartford Hawks on Friday at 8:30 p.m. Stony Brook enters the tournament having won three of its last five games. The Seawolves face the Hawks for the second time in the America East tournament having also faced them as a No. 6 seed in 2003. If the Seawolves defeat Hartford, they will face No. 2 seed Northeastern Saturday at 6 p.m. The first three days of the America East tournament will be played at the Events Center on the campus of Binghamton University March 4-6. The championship game will be played at the highest remaining seed on Saturday, March 12.
