Boston University Game Notes Get Acrobat Reader

The Stony Brook men's and women's basketball team takes to the court on Saturday afternoon as part of a doubleheader beginning at 2 pm. MSG will televise the men's game against Binghamton at 2 with the women's team tipping off against Boston University at 4:30 pm. Stony Brook Athletics will also be offering the following ticket deals: All general admission tickets purchased are good for both games, commuters with student ID can bring up to three family members or friends for free and faculty/staff can buy one ticket for five dollars and get one free.

Men's Basketball Hosts Binghamton
The Stony Brook University men's basketball team will play its final regular season contest of the 2007-08 season on Saturday afternoon, hosting in-state rival Binghamton at Stony Brook Arena on Senior Day. The Seawolves will honor seniors Ricky Lucas, Mitchell Beauford and Emanuel Neto prior to the 2 p.m. contest.

What You Need To Know
Stony Brook leads the all-time series 26-19 after Binghamton's 67-61 victory over the Seawolves earlier this season at the Events Center. Stony Brook defeated the visiting Bearcats 67-55 last season and have two of the last three meetings between the teams at Stony Brook Arena.

The Seawolves rallied from a 10-point second half deficit for a 56-51 victory over Maine on Saturday afternoon. It marked the second time in three contests that SBU rallied for a victory after trailing at halftime after failing to do so in the previous 17 contests it trailed at the half.

Senior Ricky Lucas scored 12 of his game-high 14 points in the second half on Saturday against Maine. Lucas has been stellar in the second half this season, averaging 8.6 points after halftime while shooting 42 percent from the field and 44.6 percent from three. In the first half of the Seawolves contests he is averaging 5.6 points, shooting 36 percent from the field and 38 perecent from three.

Stony Brook forced 10 steals against Maine on Saturday, the fifth time the Seawolves have forced 10 or more steals. SBU has forced 413 turnovers this season, third most in the conference.

Women's Basketball Hosts Boston University
The Stony Brook women's basketball team hosts Boston University in game two of a doubleheader with the men's basketball team. WUSB 90.1's Jeff Bernstein and Curt Hylton will broadcast all the action. Live stats and video are available at GoSeawolves.org.

Last Time vs. Boston University
Boston University shot 47 percent in the first half and Stony Brook made just six shots as the Seawolves fell to the Terriers, 89-40 at Case Gymnasium.

Better Productivity
Jodie Plikus and Aly Young made the most of their time against Binghamton. Young had 12 points in 15 minutes and Plikus had 15 points in 14 minutes.

Doing the Dishes
Kairsten Nunn and Misha Horsey combined to record 12 assists vs. just three turnovers against Binghamton.
