Stony Brook, N.Y. - Freshman Bryan Dougher (Scotch Plains, N.J.) was named Stony Brook Athlete of the Week on Tuesday after tallying a season-high 15 points in the Stony Brook men's basketball team's 62-60 victory at Columbia on Saturday afternoon.

Dougher went 3-for-7 from three-point range and 4-for-4 from the foul line in 34 minutes of action against the Lions in addition to grabbing three rebounds. The 6-1 point guard has started all five of the Seawolves game this season and is averaging a team-high 33 minutes per contest.

SBU returns to action on Tuesday, traveling to take on New Jersey Tech. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
