Hartford Men's Lacrosse Tops Stony Brook 10-9

West Hartford, CT - The University of Hartford men's lacrosse team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 10-9 win over Stony Brook on Saturday afternoon, the game was played at Springfield College. The Hawks trailed 6-4 at halftime and used a strong defensive effort and a balanced scoring attack to top the Seawolves late in the fourth quarter. Hartford was led by junior Tyler Francey (Brampton, Ontario) who had two goals and one assist including the game winner with 5:40 left in the fourth quarter. Sophomore Tom Fallica (Smithtown, NY) also had two goals and an assist for the Hawks and junior Brian LaMastro added three assists for the Hawks. The Seawolves were led by senior Jesse Foss (Levittown, NY) who had two goals and two assists in the loss. Sophomore Matt Toner (Baldwin, NY) added had a goal and two assists and junior Kevin Pall (Merrick, NY) had three goals for the Seawolves. Hartford was led in goal by sophomore Rorke Greene (Cape Elizabeth, ME) who made 18 saves in goal. The Seawolves netminder, senior Tom Bushy (N. Falmouth, MA) made 13 saves in the loss.
