Kyle Pearl Ranks Among Division I Men's Lacrosse Leaders

Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook sophomore Kyle Pearl is ranked among the nation's best in ground balls per game in the most recent NCAA Division I men's lacrosse statistics released on Wednesday. Pearl scooped up a career-best 13 ground balls in last week's game against Albany to up his team-leading total to 71.

His 6.45 ground balls per game average ranks fifth among Division I leaders and first in the America East conference. Pearl has recorded 10 or more ground balls in a single game three times this season.

Stony Brook (3-8, 1-2) is back in action on Saturday when they travel to Vermont for an America East matchup. Face-off is 1 p.m.
