Stony Brook Knocked Out of America East Men's Lacrosse Championship, 12-9

In a repeat of a game played just five days ago, Stony Brook and Albany met again in men's lacrosse action, this time in a semi-final game of the America East Championships played at UMBC. Unfortunately for Stony Brook the result was the same as the previous meeting as Albany scored four straight goals in the third to break open a tie game and take a 12-9 win. The loss ended Stony Brook's season with a 7-7 record. [+]

McBride Named America East Rookie of the Year, Six Seawolves Named All-Conference

Freshman Jordan McBride (New Westminster, British Columbia/Attack) headlined a group of six Stony Brook University men's lacrosse student-athletes that were named to America East All-Conference teams the league announced at the awards banquet held in Baltimore this evening. McBride was named the America East Rookie of the Year, joining current senior Bo Tripodi (Hauppauge, N.Y./Attack) as the only Stony Brook players to receive the honor. The six all-conference selections are the most that Stony Brook has ever received during its seven seasons in the America East. [+]

McBride Earns Weekly America East Honor

For the third time this season freshman Jordan McBride (New Westminster, British Columbia) has been named the America East Conference Rookie of the Week in men's lacrosse the league announced today. McBride scored a total of six goals in a pair of games last week for the Seawolves. [+]
