Box Score

Riverdale, N.Y. - Sophomore forward Kevin Cameron led the 25th-ranked Stony Brook men's soccer team (9-1-1, 2-1-1 Atlantic Soccer Conference) to its eighth shutout on the season Saturday afternoon as the Seawolves defeated Manhattan 3-0.

Cameron scored the first goal of his Stony Brook career in the 30th minute after a scramble in the box to give the Seawolves a 1-0 halftime lead. Just five minutes into the second stanza, freshman Shane Arikian added to the Seawolves total when he took a shot from the top of the box off a cross from sophomore Ivan Perez. Cameron tallied his second goal just five minutes later to close out the scoring and seal Stony Brook's ninth win of the season.

Freshman goalkeeper Dan Ferrin had three saves to earn his eighth shutout. Manhattan goalkeeper Antonio Treglia registered eight saves on the afternoon.

Stony Brook returns to action on Tuesday, Oct. 17, when the Seawolves travel to Bucknell. Kickoff is 5 p.m.
