Men's Soccer Downed By Boston U., 6-1

Boston, MA - Boston University (9-4-1|5-1-1) scored twice in the final 16 minutes of the first half to take a commanding two-goal lead and went on to beat Stony Brook, 6-1, Sunday afternoon. Down 1-0, Kevin Cameron tied the score in the 29th minute on a pass from Jamie Gaither for Stony Brook. From there, it was all Boston U. The Terriers struck back with goals at the 36th minute and 42nd minute to assume the 3-1 halftime advantage. Scores at the 59:30, 74:38 and 87:15 (PK) marks gave the Terriers the convincing 6-1 win and kept Stony Brook winless in its last four outings. Matt Thibdeau had five saves for the Seawolves. |
