Cambridge, Mass. - Men's Soccer's Michael Palacio has been named America East Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. In addition, he was also named Stony Brook Athlete of the Week.

The reigning America East Midfielder of the Year led the Seawolves to three wins last week beating the likes of Columbia, Adelphi and Niagara. Palacio had a goal and two assists and has a four-game point streak in Stony Brook's four-game winning streak.

Stony Brook travels to the state of Maryland to take on Towson on Saturday afternoon. Kick-off is scheduled for 1 pm.
