Indianapolis, Ind. - The field of 48 teams participating in the 2009 NCAA College Cup was announced on Monday evening and the Stony Brook men's soccer team will travel to face Brown at 7 pm on Thursday, November 19. Stony Brook (6-9-4) enters the College Cup with a seven-game unbeaten streak, the longest such stretch since the then Patriots went 7-0-1 to start the 1980 season. The Seawolves won their second America East Conference championship with Sunday's 2-0 win over UMBC. Head Coach Cesar Markovic is making his fourth trip to the NCAA Tournament and his third as a Division I coach. Under Markovic, each of his two previous teams won their first round game.

Brown, out of the Ivy League, went 10-2-5, 5-2-0 during the season. Senior Nick Elenz-Martin leads three players with five goals apiece. Paul Grandstrand has been the Bears' primary keeper this season, posting a 0.77 goals against average and a .777 save percentage.
