Women's Swimming and Diving Finish Third, Men Second at Husky Invitational

Storrs, Conn. - Both the men's and women's swimming and diving squads were in action on Saturday competing in the Husky Invitational hosted by the University of Connecticut. Also competing in the meet were Vermont and Southern Connecticut.

Lukasz Ochmanski (Lodz, Poland) got the Seawolves going with a first place finish in the 200 Yard Freestyle. Jack Schursky (Rye Neck, N.Y.) also gave Stony Brook first place points, touching first in the 400 Yard IM with a time of 4:14.46.

On the women's side, Anastasia Kiryushkina (Moscow, Russia), Adrienne Policht (Mississauga, Ontario), Lucy Liu (Bronx, N.Y.) and Nyisha Green-Washington (Highland Mills, N.Y.) had top-10 finishes for the Seawolves.

Both squads are back in action when it travels to Amherst, Mass., for a duel meet at UMass. Event one is scheduled for 12 pm.
