Stony Brook, N.Y. - Nathan French collects Stony Brook Athlete of the Week honors after an outstanding weekend at the 2005 America East Swimming and Diving Championships held in Baltimore, Md.

The junior posted six top-three finishes, including winning the 100-yard backstroke title in leading the Seawolves to a third place finish overall.

French, who won the 100 back in 52.27, finished second in the 200 back and the 200 and 400 medley relays, third in the 500 freestyle and 400 free relay and fourth in the 800 free relay.
