Stony Brook, N.Y. - Ted Freeborn was named America East Men's Swimmer of the Week after taking three first place finishes this weekend against Boston University, America East announced Tuesday afternoon.

The senior capped off his last meet at University Pool with a 21.19 first place finish in the 50 freestyle, earning the top spot in America East 50 freestyle performances this season. Freeborn went on to help his 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams to first place finishes to defeat Boston University 178-117.

Freeborn and the rest of the Seawolves will be back in action on January 22 for a 1:00 p.m. tri-meet with the University of Vermont and St. Peter's College.
