SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - New Zealander David Hewitt won at #2 singles, 6-1, 4-6, 6-0 and teamed with countryman Gareth Williams at #1 doubles for an 8-2 victory as Stony Brook defeated Seton Hall, 5-2, Wednesday afternoon in men's tennis. The win broke a five-match losing streak by the Seawolves, who improve to 3-5.

Patrick Drozdzick and Jeff Haich clinched the doubles point with an 8-5 win at the #3 spot. In singles play, Haich, Kyle Warner, Hewitt and Williams all won at their respective positions.

The Seawolves take on Wagner at home on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.
