Rummel Advances to Quarterfinals at ITA Regionals

Junior Ivan Rummel (Budapest, Hungary) advanced all the way to the quarterfinal round at the East Region ITA Men's Tennis Championships at Dartmouth College, leading a contingent of six Stony Brook players competing at the event. [+]

Men's Tennis Reaches Three Finals Matches at Stony Brook Invitational

Staying at home for a second straight weekend, the Stony Brook men's tennis team saw two singles players and one doubles team reached the finals as play concluded today at the Stony Brook Invitational. Junior Ivan Rummel (Budapest, Hungary) and senior Jon Epstein (Silver Spring, Md.) reached singles finals for the Seawolves, as did the doubles team of senior Halvar Dil (Amersfort, Netherlands) and sophomore Mitch Wong (Tampa, Fla.).
