Stony Brook, N.Y. - Sophomore forward Sherry Jordan was named to the All-Met Division I Women's Basketball Team, it was announced Monday after a voting of area head coaches.

Jordan, who was also a first-team All-America East selection, averaged 17.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game this year for the Seawolves, who finished 16-14 overall. She also led the conference in steals (2.67 per game), ranked third in scoring and fourth in rebounds. Jordan helped lead Stony Brook to the America East championship game in the Seawolves' first year in the conference.

Also named to the first team were Michelle Cappadona of Monmouth, Tamika Dudley of Long Island, Rosalee Mason of Manhattan and Player of the Year Felicia Harris of St. Peter's. St. Peter's head coach Mike Granelli was named All-Met Coach of the Year.

Second-team honorees include Davalyn Cunningham (Rutgers), Schrene Isidora (Fairfield), Natalia Marchanka (Fairleigh Dickinson), Katie MacFarlane (Army) and Taneasha Seaton (St. Peter's).

The All-Met Division I Women's Basketball Team will be honored at the 69th Annual NIT/MBWA Dinner on Wednesday, April 24, at Pegasus West in the Meadowlands Race Track.
