Boston, Mass. - Northeastern scored three first half goals to build a 3-0 halftime advantage en route to a 5-1 win over the Stony Brook women's soccer team Sunday afternoon. The loss drops Stony Brook to 5-5-1, 1-1 in America East play while Northeastern improved to 7-3, 2-0.

Suzy Larson scored Stony Brook's only goal of the game in the second half.

Stony Brook is back in action next Saturday when it travels to Binghamton. Kick-off is 1 p.m.
