Women's Soccer Ties Boston University 0-0 in Double Overtime

Boston, Ma. - Stony Brook goalkeeper, Cindy Bennett, turned away nine Terrier shots to hold off conference foe, Boston University, as the teams battled out a 0-0 tie, Sunday afternoon in Boston.

With the tie, Stony Brook improves to 6-7-4, 3-3-1 in the America East, while the Terriers' record moves to 12-3-2 and 4-2-1 in conference play.

The game remained a deadlock through regulation and two overtimes as Bennett earned her seventh shutout of the season. Boston keeper, Stephanie Dreyer, scooped up one Stony Brook shot to hold off the Seawolves' offense.

The Seawolves are back in action Thursday at LaValle Stadium for a 7:00 p.m. match-up with New Hampshire.
