Women's Soccer Adds Two Newcomers
May 30, 2006 Head Coach Sue Ryan is pleased to announce the addition of three newcomers to the Stony Brook women's soccer squad. Transfer Jackie Timmes joins the Seawolves while incoming freshman Cait Frank rounds out the newcomers. With the three additions, Ryan now has nine new additions to the women's soccer team. Timmes, originally from Mastic, N.Y., played the last two years at LaSalle University, where she was named to the Atlantic 10 Honor Roll. She was a six-year letterwinner at William Floyd High School where she was a three-time MVP as well as an all-league and all-conference selection. Off the field she was recogninzed as a CBS Leader of Tomorrow and named a scholar-athlete six times. Frank, who hails from Poughkeepsie, N.Y., played at Arlington Senior High in Lagrangeville, N.Y. She was an all-league and all-section pick while being a four-year starter. A member of the National Honor Society and a four-time honor roll selection, Frank also excelled off the field as she was the student government vice president and went to the National Youth Leadership Forum in Washington D.C. in 2004.
