Feliciano, Kramer Garner America East Player Of The Week Honors

Sept. 22, 2003

Stony Brook, N.Y. - Victoria Felicano was named Co-Player of the Week and Katie Kramer grabbed Rookie of the Week honors, the America East announced on Monday. Felicano and Kramer helped Stony Brook put together a three-game winning streak last week as the Seawolves upped their record to 4-2-1.

Feliciano became the first women's soccer player in school history to earn America East Player of the Week honors since Stony Brook joined the conference in 2001. She converted a penalty kick and added an assist in a 2-1 win over Lehigh and came back the next game against St. Peter's to cash in another penalty kick in a 3-0 win. Her strong play earned her Holiday Inn Express Invitational Offensive MVP honors on Sunday.

On Sunday, Kramer scored the game-winning goal in a 5-0 win over Temple. She went on to finish with a pair of goals and an assist and now ranks second in the America East in goals per game (.57). She also was named to the Holiday Inn Express All-Tournament team.
