Stony Brook University Installs New FieldTurf Playing Surface

Stony Brook University Athletics recently completed the installation of a new FieldTurf surface in Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium, replacing the original Field Turf which was installed when the facility opened in 2002. The new, 89,298 square foot surface was provided by Field Turf Tarkett and installed by the Land Tek Group Inc. [+]

Women's Soccer Announces 2009 Schedule

Games against three 2008 NCAA Tournament participants as well as eight home contests at LaValle Stadium highlight the 2009 Stony Brook University women's soccer schedule as announced by head coach Sue Ryan on Tuesday. Coming off the best season in school history, the Seawolves will play five opponents ranked in last season's RPI Top 100 including three in the Top 50. [+]
