Orlando, Fla. - Stephanie Poetzsch won her fourth game of the year and Tory Menchise went 2-for-4 with two RBI as Stony Brook won its fifth in a row, 5-3, over Army on Thursday.

Army reached Poetzsch for a run in the first which snapped her consecutive scoreless innings streak at 20. Stony Brook bounced back with two of their own in the bottom of the inning to take a 2-1 lead. The Seawolves would lead the rest of the way.

Tricia Lipareli had three hits and scored three runs while Sam Foronjy and Christie McMurray each had two hits on the day. The win improves Stony Brook to 6-1 on the season as it prepares for Cornell later this afternoon.
