Hanover, N.H. - Stephanie Poetzsch became Stony Brook's all-time strikeouts leader, but the Seawolves fell twice at Dartmouth Saturday, 7-1 in game one and 5-2 in game two. The Seawolves finish the season with a 4-31 record.

Poetzsch recorded five strikouts in game one and collected 119 in her first season at Stony Brook, a new school record. However, it was the Big Green who got the better of the Pack, scoring four runs in the third inning and three more in the fourth to take a 7-0 lead. Stony Book's only run came in the sixth inning on Christie McMurray's RBI single.

In game two, Tricia Liparelli hit a two-run homerun in the first inning, staking the Seawolves to an early 2-0 lead. Dartmouth came back in the fourth inning with three runs to take the lead for good and went on to the 5-2 win. Cassie Rupp got the loss on the mound and finished the season 1-15.
