Igor Voloshin eenters his second season as an assistant coach for the Seawolves.

A native of Kiev, Ukraine, Voloshin was a member of the Stony Brook swimming and diving team from 1998-2002. A very experienced swimmer, he assists in all aspects of practice and meets.

While at Stony Brook, Voloshin swam breaststroke, qualifying for the ECACs in three events as a junior and leading the team as captain his senior year. He was voted team MVP in 2000 and 2001.

Voloshin graduated from Stony Brook in 2002 with a degree in health sciences. He resides in Huntington and is pursuing his doctorate in physical therapy at Stony Brook.
