Boston, Mass. - The Stony Brook women's swimming and diving team is in sixth place after Day 3 at the America East Championships hosted by Boston University.

After Lucy Liu got the Seawolves points in the 100-yard butterfly, Rebecca Sayles and Courtney Teague combined for 19 points in the 200-yard freestyle.

Whipple finished the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:07.27. Nyisha Green-Washington and Tracy Klicpera also placed in the event.

Liu also finished in the 100-yard backstroke.

The America East Swimming and Diving Championships conclude tomorrow with competitions in the 200-yard backstroke, 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard breaststroke, 200-yard butterfly, three meter dive and 1650-yard freestyle.
