Stony Brook, N.Y. - Sophomore Lukasz Ochmanski (Lodz, Poland) has been named the America East Male Performer of the Week for his efforts in the pool this past weekend. Ochmanski, paced the men's swimming & diving team with three first-place finishes in a meet against Boston University. This is the second-straight week a Stony Brook swimmer has earned this award.

Ochmanski put forth a dominating effort in the 1,000-yard freestyle, touching a full 13 seconds before the second-place finisher. He then went on to win the 500-yard freestyle (4:44.72) and 200-yard IM (1:56.87).

Stony Brook's next meet is not until December 2nd, when they face Iona and St. Francis in New Rochelle, N.Y.
