Women's Swimming and Diving Falls to Boston University, 172-111

Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook women's swimming and diving team fell to Boston University, 172-111, on Saturday at the University Pool. The women's squad is 2-4 on the year while Boston University improves to 3-1.

Hailey Lewandowski continued her strong senior season, winning the one meter dive and placed second in the three meter dive. Freshman Rebecca Sayles touched first in the 100-yard freestyle in 55.29, just 16 tenths of a second better than her teammate, Courtney Teague who touched second in 55.45.

The Seawolves return to action on January 17, 2007 when they travel to Binghamton to face Layfayette and the Bearcats in a tri-meet. The meet is scheduled for 2:00 pm.
