Eight Stony Brook Tennis Players Earn All-Conference Honors

Eight Stony Brook University tennis players were honored today by the America East Conference when the league announced its postseason awards list today. Five members of the men's team and three from the women's squad were among the honorees, with the Stony Brook coaching staff picking up the Coaching Staff of the Year award for the men. [+]

Men's Tennis Moves to America East Championship, Women Fall in Semifinal

Stony Brook's men's and women's tennis teams were both in action today at the America East Championships. For the No. 1 seeded men's team it was good news as the Seawolves handled Boston University, 4-0, to move to the championship match tomorrow. The news was not as good for the women, who fell to Binghamton, 4-1, in a semifinal match that ended their season. The men will play Binghamton on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. at the Yale Tennis Center for the America East title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. [+]
